A Love of Cakes – By Annette
As a child, I always loved Christmas time, because I was allowed to help mum make and decorate her Christmas cakes. Over the years, they got more and more creative.

When I got engaged in 2003, I couldn’t wait to see the wedding cakes on offer around Taranaki. I found a picture of a cake with a convertible car sitting on top. I thought this was brilliant as my husband is a car fanatic and at the time I was working for Ford. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anyone in Taranaki who would make what I wanted, so I decided I would start my own business (formley Annette’s Cake Design) and this is where I am today!

I love to design delicious, home baked cakes, cupcakes and cookies to order, for special celebrations including weddings, birthdays, work functions, showers and gifts. I’m based in Stratford, Taranaki NZ and deliver right throughout the Taranaki region including New Plymouth.
